If you don't know, .md is for markdown files, it's a text file, essentially. You can open it in anything you want, though many things will refuse; useful options include notepad.exe, word, wordpad, probably chrome I guess, it's just text. .md files are written in a thin format that allows software to do stuff to them for blogs, look this isn't important just open it in atom or notepad++ or vs.code or arduino or email it to your TV.
